Do you or anyone you know might be interested in becoming a priest or a deacon?
It is all our responsibility to raise awareness about vocations in the church: God calls each of us to holiness by a certain and particular way of life. In calling us to a particular vocation in life, God has in mind the living of our life fully.
If you want to know more about the priesthood, please talk with either Fr Michael or Fr Clifford (585-394-1220). We are also blessed to have Deacon Claude Lester and Deacon Michael McGuire serving our parish, If you have any questions about the diaconate, you may wish to speak to them.
Pray for vocations in the Church:
Vocations Prayer
Lord, let me know clearly the work you are calling me to do.
Grant me the grace and generosity I need to answer your call with courage and love,
for to do your will is my joy and my peace. Amen.

“If you are afraid to love, never become a priest, never say Mass. The Mass will break you open and let everyone in the world into your heart. For when you begin to say Mass, the Spirit of God awakens like a giant inside you and bursts the locks of your private sanctuary. If you say Mass, you condemn your soul to a torrent of love that is so vast, so insatiable that you will never be able to bear it alone. For that love is Jesus' love and Jesus´ compassion for all the sinners of the world.” Thomas Merton
