Again this year, Youth Ministry for grades 6-8 will be part of our Sunday morning faith formation programming and beginning mid-September, sessions for 6-8 will take place after 9am Mass at St. Mary’s.

In addition being part of the Middle School Youth Group and doing faith-filled activities, students in grades 6-8 we will again be using materials from Pflaum Publishing that coincide with our liturgical year. The lesson of the day will either reinforce the Gospel reading for that day if the student has attended 9am before the session, or will prepare them for the Gospel reading for that day if the student will attend 11:30am Mass after the session. We are confident that this will enrich the student’s church experience because it will promote better understanding of the Gospel, and we are hopeful that this, in turn, will encourage more discussion within families.
